About Rachel

Rachel started working for MailOnline/DailyMail in January 2015 as a Freelance Video Editor, after working hard she received yearly promotions to become the LA Head of Video.  As Head of Video, Rachel has built a successful team, surpassed productivity goals, and increased communication between offices. Rachel has created new methods of the hiring process for her team. Her new method has streamlined finding the right person for openings and those who’ve been hired have stayed longer then previous hires. DailyMail's videos and subsequent content have a consistent look and feel and are getting more views each year. In 2022, Rachel wanted to challenge herself to push views even harder by learning new skills through Google's Data Analytics Certificate through Coursera. This allowed her to learn SQL, R, and expand on her prior skills in content analytics.

Before MailOnline, she had led a successful freelance career working as a Story Assistant for Dancing with the Stars, Camera Operating on the behind the scenes of photoshoots of celebrities such as Lorde, Jason Derulo, and Jordin Sparks, and being the Key Grip on the award winning web series EastSiders.

These opportunities did not come out of thin air. In college, Rachel took every summer as an opportunity to work in the industry. She interned at BuzzFeed, Bravo, Capitol Records, CollegeHumor, Hardin Bourke Entertainment, Engel Entertainment, Atlantic Television, and Prospect Pictures. These early connections has allowed Rachel to flourish.
